Dr Ali Ahmed-Shuaib is an excellent doctor who inspired me to be like him. It is because of his kindness also he knew what questions to ask and how to help me get rid of my pain. He is truly the best doctor I’ve been to. We are lucky to have him in our local GP.

I have no critiism for Dr Ahmed Shuaib, he’s one of the best doctors at Barkantine. He doesn’t only just treat his patients, Its obvious that he genuinely cares. He is highly professional and an empathetic individual which goes a long long way, patients come into the surgery often vulnerable and reliant upon the advice and care of a doctor and he really makes you feel at ease. My last appointment I had to wait about two weeks to get an appointment with him but I’d rather wait and see a doctor that I’m comfortable with.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ali Ahmed Shuaib for the last 3 years and he is the best physician that I have engaged with in the UK since I moved here from the U.S. I’ve always been able to talk to Dr. Shuaib and get my problems resolved. Going to the visit Dr. Shuaib at the Barkantine Practice is like dealing with trusted family. I would not consider changing him as my GP as he is always extremely thorough. He listens to my concerns and has a calm way of assuring me that no matter what ails me, it will be addressed and rectified. I cannot begin to express my satisfaction with the results and care that I have received from Dr. Shuaib. He’s always courteous, professional, attentive and he’s made my visits very comfortable.

Dr Ali has always given the correct advice coupled with the various treatment options - it shows that he puts all his experience in all the cases that he handles - whether its for kids or for adults. He is a very patient listener and knows how to address the concerns of the patients and their carers - would highly recommend Dr Ali to anyone who needs a great ENT doctor! One of the things that I have noticed in my interaction with Dr Ali is that he doesn't refer to Google (unlike most of the doctors) and is spot on with his diagnosis!
